I hope you find the information on this site to be useful and interesting. We are living in challenging times. And yet, whatever arises doesn't need to be faced alone. I'm wishing you peace and good health.
I could have easily used one of the many services available to create a slick, professionally designed site. I've done it before and I've chosen not to take that path this time. Instead, I'm using the building of this site as a means of fostering brain health by developing new skills...like website design. I'll be emphasizing hand-crafting the site and maintaining a simple, clean design.
None of us are just one thing. I'm now playing with being a website designer in addition to being a psychologist.
In my life and work, I've developed enormous respect for both our common humanity and the huge varieties of human experience. I strive to be mindful of how my own privileges and disadvantages (e.g, profound hearing loss) may affect my interactions with people who have different life experiences.
